Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam stays busy. She joined the New “Splash” series on ABC, which airs Tuesday nights, however, because her score was the lowest she was eliminated . This star currently lives in Atlanta and is extremely competitive. We have seen her grow up from The Cosby Show, as a regular on The House of Payne, and in Tyler Perry’s Movies just to name a few.

A major concern of most black women who are active with swimming or pool events is hair care from the chlorine water. Tips that will assist with keeping your hair healthier if you would like to to participate in water aerobics, swimming or other pool events include: apply a conditioner to your hair and wear a swimming cap, or if you do not wear a swimming cap shampoo your hair immediately after exiting the pool. If you have children who swim during the summertime, do not get their hair braided. Parents will need to shampoo and thoroughly condition your child’s hair each time. Keshia’s hair is naturally curly, so her maintenance of shampooing, conditioning and keeping her hair hydrated is not stressful.

Keshia is in the process of creating her own hair care line. Keshia shares with Reporter Nicole Melton, “As a Black woman trying different products and figuring out what works best for me, the one thing that I realized is that hair brands lump us together as having “black hair” but all black hair is not alike. We cross a spectrum more than any other ethnic group and our hair has always been about looking like someone else’s instead of embracing what God has given us. For me it’s about healthy hair. I’ve met with a few companies about developing my own hair care line so I’ll be making more decisions on that really soon and I’m really excited about it. For me it’s about the quality of the product. I would not sell anyone anything that I wouldn’t use or buy myself.”
